Polo Fields, Ohio, is a subdivision resting comfortably within Union Township, which itself is nestled inside Clermont County.

Polo Fields is an idyllic, somewhat exclusive enclave, enclosed within the Interstate 275 loop that today encompasses about 536 residential homes. When it is finally completed, the lovely, sun-dappled neighborhood should play host to about 700 homes. It is the second largest neighborhood in Clermont County, after Miami Trails in Miami Township, near Loveland, Ohio.

Some of the opulent amenities in Polo Fields include, but are not limited to, a private swim club with pavilion, playground for the wee little ones and a basketball court.

Shopping and Dining
Because Polo Fields is only about 20 miles east of downtown Cincinnati, its residents and visitors have no shortage of world-class shopping and dining opportunities. You don't have to head to the big city, however, for some incredible choices in retailers and restaurants. You can just head to the much smaller but much closer town of Milford. There are a number of all-American, all-under-one-roof shopping and eating experiences available around both Milford and Polo Fields, such as the Eastgate Mall, Anderson Town Center, Kenwood Towne Centre and of course, the Milford Shopping Center.

The community of Milford, which rests just a stone's throw from Polo Fields, has an aura of Americana permeating this city of about 6,700 residents. And, if you're in the right state of mind, it can set a jovial tone for a lazy day escapade to check out some of the area's local colors and flavors. You should have no trouble reserving a tee time when you live in Polo Fields. Some of the nearby golf courses include The Vineyard Golf Course, Eagles Nest Golf Course, Indian Valley Golf Course, and the Terrace Park Country Club.

Variety is the spice of life, and so Drees Homes, the primary homebuilder in Polo Fields, offers 19 different floorplans from which to pick. The prices on one of these homes typically range from a little more than $285,000 to a little less than $430,000.

While it is a bit difficult to give an accurate population of Polo Fields itself, that is not the case for Clermont County's Union Township. According to the informational website, Sperling's Best Places, the population for the township in 2012 was 46,416, which represents a population increase of nearly 10 percent since 2000.

Also in 2012, the median price for a home was just over $137,000, with an average home appreciation of approximately 0.69 percent, and a cost of living that's more than 6 percent lower than the national average.

Schools, Health, Transportation
In the Polo Fields subdivision within Union Township, it is the Milford Exempted Village School that serves the community's public education needs. Located in nearby Milford, the school district educates approximately 6,316 PK through 12 students via 9 schools.

Hospitals, health care centers and medical care facilities are conveniently close to Polo Fields and include: Bethesda North Hospital about 7 miles away in Cincinnati; Jewish Hospital, LLC also about 7 miles away in Cincinnati; and Doctors Urgent Care Office just up the road in Milford.

Most folks in Polo Fields and the rest of Union Township utilize the highways and byways running through the pastoral, rolling countryside, including the aforementioned I-275, as well as Interstate 71 and State Highway 131.
